hungry and hollow for all the things you took away,
meet mr. laurance, the only professor for miles around. he's a certified train wreck, and quite possibly insane. he's devoted his entire life to writing letter after letter to his dead wife, and had buried himself in isolation. but he loves teaching - or used to - and has thrown himself into the position out of desperation for something to hold onto. the man hates how weak he's become, wrecked by a single woman, and spins lie after lie to cover up how damaged he is. with this guy's poker face, you'd never know just how many millions of little pieces he's really in. i am still dreaming of your face now. i am SO not above student-teacher relationships. in fact, given the situation, i highly encourage them. it will be dramatic, illegal, with angst by the shitton and tension coming out the wazoo. irresistible, no? ah, and prime opportunity to mention that although ezio calls himself straight, he's gotten hot and heavy with a boy or two before. (shit happens, and he's a sucker for the shy ones.) ANYWAYS, of course, i'm not just looking for student-teacher 'extra credit.' lord knows the man could use a friend, a brother- or sister-type, that knows about the letters or at least has an idea of just how messed up ezio is. so, open to anything, really. please & thank you,xo elo[/blockquote][/blockquote]

cat here is a train wreck as well and is reckless/rebellious/crazy enough to do crazy things and getting into a fling with an equally train wrecked professor who she finds intriguing is definitely one of the possible options?

cat - stellar. two train wrecks are bound to make for a beautiful disaster, wouldn't you say? and i see she's the library assistant, which gives us a perfect excuse, as ezio is a literature-whore. perhaps they meet in the library after hours, her there to close down, him there for some solitary reading? or anywhere really, just give me your thoughts. c:

lyra - gratzi! loved the name ever since brotherhood, i was bound to use it for one character or another. c: & i like! they both need someone to call close in this town. perhaps lyra also used to be friends - a bridesmaid in the wedding, perchance - with andria, ezio's dead wife. just another little detail that might make interactions between these two more interesting.

i definitely agree. c: and i like that idea very much, the library is cat's favorite place when she needs to avoid going home so she's very much in her element and relaxed there, which would make their socializing and instant connection a lot easier. would you like to start the thread or do you want me to start it? i'm fine with both, let me know.

cat - perfection, these two have so much in common! i'm looking forward to this thread, and if you'll start it up, elo will adore you foreverss! c:
lyra - loving this, ezio definitely needs someone who was close to andria. let's say thing's have been getting worse with him lately, and lyra has noticed. she proposes that they visit her grave, an attempt at some closure, and he agrees, not wanting to show her the depth of his weakness. i'll start a thread for them on the road, driving to the cemetery. you like?

i'd love to start it but my muse is kind of lost from how late it is at my place atm, and from the fact i barely even had a fair amount of sleep for the past week lol, so it'll probably take until sometimes tomorrow for me to put the thread up. but i'll try to snag some free time up for making it as soon as possible and i'll reply here with a link when i'm done. c:
