introducing the one and only miss seraphina lee matthews, known as phina only to her closes friends. to everyone else? you can call her sera. she's a nineteen year old university student who is studying musical theatre at the moment, but lately she hasn't been seen around the school. want to know why? her mother had been sick for quite a while, but she had never told her daughter when she was alive, or even let her see just how sick she was. about a month ago, sera was hit with a blow so terrible, she hasn't yet recovered from the tragedy. her boyfriend of three years, parker, was killed in a car accident on his way to surprise her for their three year anniversary, but was hit by a drunk driver and pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital. and two weeks later, her mother also succumbed to the cancer that was slowly eating away at her body. seraphina has not come to terms with either death, often isolating herself away from the rest of the world. it's so bad that she doesn't even want to sing anymore. only a handful of people have been able to have some kind of conversation with her lately, and her father is not one of them. since the death of his wife, he has cut his daughter completely out of his life, leaving only her older brother to try and reach out to the sister who is in so much pain. at the moment, everything for her is open. i have put up a want ad for her brother and the male bestie who becomes her new love interest, but otherwise, she needs a female bestie, an enemy or two, and perhaps a crush/fling? sex her up!

demi and selena ftw! dude, there is no possible way that we cannot put these two together! i like the idea that you have with them having clicked, and i think it would be really cute for zara to befriend someone who isn't as popular in the world as herself. sera might have proven to be a calming influence over her before she fell into her depression, so maybe zara turns around and pushes her together with her brother's best friend when she sees that the two are attracted to one another? add, subtract, modify?
