What's your name, does it have any special meaning?
my name is evan clayton west, not sure if there is anything overly special about my name. though i'll admit my middle name is just really odd, i mean my first and last name are pretty normal. but then my parents go and stick clayton as my middle name, i mean it's just weird if you as me. knowing my parents it's the name of like so long lost relative or whatever. but uh yeah not sure what else to really say about my name, other than it's hard to make nicknames out of.
How old are you?
i'm currently twenty-four years young, i was born on 23rd august 1986. it's a pretty good age i guess, though doesn't exactly feel much different from being twenty-three or whatever. had a pretty awesome birthday party, we went extreme paintballing which was great apart from the bruises and aching afterwards.
Did you enjoy school?
uhh it's been awhile since i've been in school but i suppose i could say yes that i kinda enjoyed school a little bit. i wasn't one of the super popular kids or anything, but i had a band together at th etime and we were pretty well known around school and a lot of people came to our gigs and stuff. as for actual classes i was probably your pretty average student, i normally managed to scarpe by with enough credit and not get myself into too much trouble. after high school, i did go to college and did a major in much and music tech at ucla. it was amazing, but i'm glad to finally be free of schoola nd having to do assignments and sit exams.
What's your favorite childhood memory?
umm this would probably have to be the time that i wrote and played my first song. i was about fourteen and i'd entered the school talent show, yeah a little lame i know but still i wanted to give it a go. so i'd written this song and you have no idea how nervous i was about actually having to sing it in front of people. at that time my songs were like top secret i didn't show anyone. but that night i got on stage with my acoustic guitar and played it and i gotta say the aduience loved it. i only got second place though, cause some tap dancer girl beat me.
Do you have a job?
of course, i'm currently working for a few record labels and producers writing music for artists that are signed to their labels. it's something i've loved doing for awhile now, anything to do with music makes me happy really. plus i'll admit that the pay is pretty goood for what i do. though lately i've been thinking about starting up a band again, but for now i'm good with just writing music.
Are you single?
i'm single right now, just got out of a relationship actually. it was gret whilst it lasted but we kinda of just drifted apart over the last couple of months. we're still friends though so it wasn't a bad split thankfully. not sure if i'm looking to rush into another relationship just yet but i'm pretty open minded if the girls seems right then i'm, not exactly going to say no or anything like that.
What's the most played song on your ipod?
the most played song on my ipod is probably it's my life by bon jovi, cause i mean lets face it who doesn't know that song? it's been one of my favorites songs since i was a teenager, i love playing it on guitar and rocking out to it in the car when i'm on a long drive. it's just a real good song to get you going sometimes.
Can you remember your first kiss?
my first kiss.. wow uh that was awhile ago now. must have been about twelve at the time and i really considered myself to be a ladies man and really thought all the girls had a crush on me. but anyway back to the first kiss, it was with a girl that was either name becca or katy i can't actually remember now which seems a little bit bad. we were walking home from school together and it just sort of happened, we'd been talking one moment and then the next we kissed. nothing too exciting really.
Who is your celeb crush?
hmm my celeb crush would most likely have to be all of the victoria secrets models, does that count? cause lets face it they are models for a verrry good reason.
Do you have any pets?
yeah i have two dogs, one of them is a golden retriver named arnie and then i have like one of those litte dogs that fit in a bag or whatever and her name is pixie. but she's not really mine, she's my sisters but she buggered off to england for a yer so i gotta babysit the dog.
Are you happy right now?
mhm i'm happy right now, though what would make me even happier is if i had some food in the fridge. i haven't been grocery shopping in forever, i'm currently eating loads of takeout, which means i'm just gonna end up being fat. but then i can just be fat happy evan, i think that'd work out just fine for me.
What do you see happening in the future?
uhh in the near future i see myself going to the gorcery store so that i don't starve. after that i really have no idea what will happen, hopefully a lot of good stuff though. like i'll still be working and maybe settled down with someone and thinking of having a family that kind of thing. but there is no way of really telling what's gonna happen, you just kinda of have to go with the flow and hope for the best.
