Bonjour mon ami,

My new years resolution this year is to keep a blog of all that I think, write and create.

The name is Ari Armstrong and I shall be your host on this whirlwind of art, photography, style and philosophy.

The truth about me is this; I'm a photographer, an artist and an aspiring fashion designer [add blogger to that.]

So things about me? Well I'm a hopeless romantic. Need me to do something? Write me a song and I'll be yours for a long long time. But I'm not a slut, yeah? I like boys and I love romance but you have to do a lot to get into MY pants, no matter what my reputation says. Um, I like...men, and lace, and ribbons, flowers, and tea, and leather, and pearls, and hula hoops, and bedazzling..wait..no not bedazzling. Um gems, and bath salts. I like make up bags, and brown paper packages tied up with string. I like wrapping presents and I like looking at ballerinas and remembering when I wanted to be one. I like rain and I love shaggy hair but hate moustaches. I like...kittens, and gloves, and toasty fires. I like marshmellows and Smores and camping but only in the backyard with my family. I love my mum and want to know my dad and I don't understand why my sister and I don't know each other. I'm not smart but I'm really not stupid, but people don't seem to see this. People have this idea that I'm a total airhead ditz and I think after a while i just couldn't be bothered trying to prove I wasn't and became what they wanted me to be. My hair is dyed because it's brown but I love my mum's and overall like her style.. I'm insanely jealous of my mom's boobs because I'm just not that well endowed. I'm a tease, I know that.

You're likely to see me out on the town every now and then, I like parties because of the socialising and networking oppurtunity and if that fails then I like to try new drinks.

I don't like to talk about the things I hate but what I do point out is my hatred of the Stay puft Marshmellow man. I don't like the ghostbusters movies and I'm not sure if I ever could. I talk to much about myself and I'm a real stickler for fashion. I might turn a guy away if he's wearing the wrong clothes. It's not about appearence but I really enjoy fashion and love the different ways people express their individulaity but sometimes it's just not good.. Um...Is that enough about me?

Oh and I hate needles but like piercings, hate peanut butter and jam, I'm afraid of clowns, and love flying, I have this fear of bouncy castles deflating on me and me getting stuck inside and suffocating. Um. Right, yeah.

A full year of this blog and I have so many loyal followers. Thank you all. And as a real thank you I want to show you all my latest finished piece.

It's not my best piece but I had fun making it.

Assignment of family; aged 12
In my little family,
my father rules the house.
My mother bake the cakes,
Fluffy hunts a mouse.

And in my little family
there are seven of us home
five of us children
But Johnny's out alone

Johnny is the eldest
he's away at college
Lucy is the next
and think she has the world's knowledge

Then comes little Joseph
who's always in his room
My younger sister Sophie
compares it to a tomb

After Johnny comes me
nothing special I assure
Then comes sweet Sophie
who everyone seems to adore

Peter is the youngest,
the baby of us all
but he controls everyone
with the sound of his bawl

We have a little cat,
Fluffy is his name
But poor little kitty
sucks at hunting game

That is my little family
So normal we may seem
but our little family
is only my wildest dream.
